When you first meet Amelia, she doesn’t exactly come across as a boring boffin, despite having a PhD in neuropharmacology and several years of experience in biomedical research.
A self-described typical middle child, Amelia grew up performing and has always loved a stage – which may explain why she chose to wear a conspicuous pink lab coat during her research years. With an apparent sense of relief, Amelia now refers to herself as a ‘reformed academic’.
Having officially swapped her pipette for a pen when she joined us in 2026, Amelia has quickly established herself as a skilled communicator who blends scientific rigour with imaginative flair. As she puts it, working in a creative agency allows her to ‘let the weird out sometimes’.
