Jordan is our ‘IT Guru’ – or, more formally, Information Technology & Communications Manager. He designs systems to meet the differing needs of managers, designers, writers and administrative staff, and his role encompasses everything from IT security to staff training.
Despite this raft of responsibilities, Jordan is the embodiment of calm and reassurance as he explains, demonstrates, soothes and troubleshoots for the techno-savvy and not so savvy. For all his competence, though, he does have an Achilles Heel, and it no longer surprises us to hear that Jordan has been involved in another ‘spider incident’. But how does one reconcile Jordan’s unflappable temperament at work with his complete loss of equilibrium when faced with a creature barely bigger than a USB stick? Even in the information age that Jordan represents, it remains a mystery.
